Here's a differnt picture of the beachfront, and the shelters are different and longer. It looks like high tide too, the water comes up all the way to the shelters. They apparently built the beach up recently because the high tide does not rise this far anymore. (unless they moved the beach back?)
There is a horse and carriage in the gravel/dirt street and the ladies are in the long black dresses. Swimmers are still wearing the predominately black "to the knees" swimsuits, mostly made of a woolen material.
