Westerly Town Beach Rhode Island
Here's a picture taken at Westerly Town Beach.
Westerly Town Beach is not far from Misquamicut Beach and it is located right next to Atlantic Beach Amusements where there carousel is.
There were not many people on the beach today. In fact the whole area seems to be shutdown for the winter.
All the snack bars, restaurants, RV campgrounds etc. were all empty. It was like a ghost town... but it's only February, just wait till April!
DIRECTIONS:
From CT, take Exit 92. At the end of the ramp make a right, (this is Hwy. 2) follow it a couple miles and you'll see a sign on your right that says, Westerly Beaches, Hwy. 78. Don't drive too fast or you'll miss it.
Make a right and get up on Hwy. 78, and follow it all the way till you come to a large intersection with a stoplight. Stay in the center lane and go through this stoplight, then follow this road all the way straight till you come to a sign that says Misquamicut Beach, turn left and follow it, pass Misquamicut, pass the carousel, and you are there.
