Compo Beach CT
Here's a nice view of Compo beach.
Compo beach is a very popular beach in Westport.
It has a long stretch of sand by the shoreline. It also has a huge playground for the kiddies.
Compo Beach has a long history too, having been the landing point for the British ships during the Revolutionary War.
There's also several islands nearby.
This first picture is north of Compo beach. Compo Beach was south of here, and we didn't bring any money to get in.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to get a picture of the details for the beach.
This view is from the north end of the beach looking south.
This is the sign on the corner where we turned to go to Compo beach.
DIRECTIONS
Getting to Compo Beach is rather tricky. You have to exit 17 off I95 and then find your way back heading east till you find Compo Rd. Then turn south and follow it all the way. See Compo Beach map
