Darien: Weed Beach and Pear Tree Beach. (203) 656-7325

Beach amenities include public grills, picnic areas, tennis courts, restrooms.

Reservations are required for the tennis courts.

Seasonal Passes are a available to residents and town employees for $20, nonresident taxpayers for $50, and summer residents for $100. The passes are free for resident senior citizens.

Seasonal passes are not available to nonresidents. Passes must be purchased at Darien Town Hall by cash or check.

Daily parking fees are $30. These may be purchased at either beach by cash or check. All parking lots are available to any season or day pass holder regardless of residency.

Facilities: Lifeguards are on duty from approximately Memorial Day to Labor Day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Directions: Darien is located about halfway between Norwalk and Stamford. Travel Nearwater Lane, off I-95 at Exit 10 Pear Point Beach is at the foot of Park Avenue, I95 exit 10 Weed Beach is on Nearwater Lane I95 exit 10
